Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that elevate the OBS brand, increase market penetration, and support the company’s overall business objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage the entire marketing process from concept to execution, overseeing digital marketing, content creation, campaign management, brand development, and analytics.
As a Marketing Manager at OBS, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and design, to create impactful campaigns that reach and engage our target audience. Your role will be essential in ensuring that our marketing efforts are data-driven, customer-centric, and aligned with the company’s goals for both growth and sustainability. This position requires a balance of creativity, strategic thinking, and project management to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with OBS’s business objectives, focusing on customer acquisition, brand awareness, and market expansion.
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and position OBS as an industry leader.
Define marketing KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies.
2. Digital Marketing Management
Oversee the digital marketing strategy, including SEO/SEM, social media, email campaigns, and paid advertising, to drive traffic, generate leads, and enhance online presence.
Lead the execution of content marketing initiatives (blog posts, whitepapers, videos, case studies) that reflect the brand's voice and engage the target audience.
Manage the company’s website and optimize the digital user experience to convert visitors into leads and customers.
3. Campaign Management
Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with overall business goals.
Manage campaign timelines and budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and within project scope.
Collaborate with the sales and product teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that support product launches, promotions, and key company initiatives.
4. Brand Development
Maintain and enhance the OBS brand identity, ensuring that all marketing materials, messaging, and visual assets are consistent across all platforms and touchpoints.
Develop brand guidelines and ensure all communications are aligned with the company’s values, culture, and overall brand positioning.
Foster partnerships with influencers, media, and industry leaders to strengthen the brand’s presence and credibility.
5. Market Research and Customer Insights
Conduct market research to gather data on customer behaviors, industry trends, and competitive positioning, applying these insights to refine marketing strategies.
Utilize customer feedback and analytics to develop buyer personas and map customer journeys, ensuring personalized and effective messaging for each audience segment.
6. Team Leadership and Collaboration
Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing direction, support, and career development opportunities.
Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, design, and customer support to align marketing initiatives with broader company objectives.
Manage external agencies and vendors, ensuring that deliverables meet the company’s quality standards and deadlines.
7. Performance Tracking and Reporting
Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, analyzing data to assess ROI, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and lifetime value (LTV).
Develop and present marketing performance reports to the leadership team, outlining successes, areas for improvement, and actionable insights.
Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data, adjusting tactics and strategies to improve outcomes.
8. Event Marketing & Public Relations
Plan and execute industry events, webinars, and conferences, ensuring that OBS has a strong presence and maximizes networking opportunities.
Oversee public relations initiatives, including press releases, media outreach, and relationship-building with key media outlets.
Qualifications
Education:
Masters' Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing teams and cross-functional projects.
Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that have resulted in measurable business growth.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing) and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or equivalent platforms).
Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and CRM tools to track campaign performance and customer engagement.
Analytical Mindset:
Strong understanding of data analytics and the ability to interpret marketing performance metrics to drive decision-making.
Project Management Skills:
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages that resonate with different audiences and stakeholders.

Industry Experience:
Prior experience in technology, media, or innovation-driven industries is preferred, as the role may require a deep understanding of market dynamics in these sectors.
Creative Expertise:

Experience with Event Marketing:
Experience in organizing and promoting industry events, conferences, or trade shows as part of an overall marketing strategy.
Certifications:
Certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint) are a plus.
Leadership Skills:
