Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, emotionally expressive, and technically proficient Studio Vocalist specializing in indie music. The selected artist will be an integral part of our creative team, contributing their voice to various recording projects, including albums, singles, soundtracks, and experimental soundscapes. This role requires a unique vocal texture, a deep connection with music, and the ability to convey intricate emotions through voice.
As an OBSxDolby Reverence Records Studio Vocalist, you will collaborate with renowned producers, songwriters, and sound engineers, ensuring that each vocal performance meets the highest artistic and technical standards. Responsibilities
Deliver World-Class Vocal Performances
Record lead, harmony, and backing vocals with precision, emotion, and authenticity.
Adapt to various indie sub-genres, ensuring each project captures the intended artistic vision.
Perform multiple takes as required, maintaining consistency and adaptability.
Creative Collaboration & Interpretation
Work closely with songwriters, composers, producers, and engineers to bring artistic concepts to life.
Provide vocal interpretations that align with the storytelling and musical composition.
Contribute creative insights to enhance arrangements, melodies, and lyrical delivery.
Technical & Studio Adaptability
Utilize state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos recording environments to create immersive and spatial vocal experiences.
Understand and implement advanced microphone techniques, breath control, and vocal layering for superior sound quality.
Adjust vocal performances based on real-time producer and engineer feedback.
Dedication to Artistic and Professional Growth
Continuously refine and expand vocal techniques, incorporating experimental sounds and new stylistic approaches.
Stay updated on current indie music trends, vocal technologies, and recording industry best practices.

Qualifications
Vocal Mastery & Musical Expertise
Proven experience as a lead or session vocalist in indie, alternative, or folk genres.
Ability to sing with authenticity, emotional depth, and dynamic range.
Strong understanding of music theory, harmonization, and vocal arrangement techniques.
Recording & Technical Knowledge
Prior experience in studio recording environments; familiarity with multi-track layering and advanced mixing techniques is a plus.
Comfortable working with Dolby Atmos sound production or willing to undergo training to adapt to immersive audio recording.
Performance & Interpretation
Versatility in vocal styles while maintaining a unique artistic identity.

Special Domain Requirements
Work Environment & Expectations
Locations: Hybrid-based role, with recording sessions scheduled in Hyderabad (Studio A) and New York (Studio C). Remote vocal recording options may be available for select projects.
Schedule: Flexible, project-based work, including evening and weekend sessions based on production needs.
Travel: Occasional travel between studios or for promotional and live performance opportunities.
